As Account Executive for Blue Line Strategic Communications, Kati Rutherford brings a background in new media for clients looking to understand their online communications objectives and use interactive media to their advantage. In addition, Kati assists with day-to-day operations, client interaction, media relations, strategic planning, research and a wide range of communication needs for a variety of clients.
Before joining BLSC, Kati worked in digital public affairs and online advocacy at Edelman Public Relations in Washington, DC. She served as assistant to the energy and climate change practice at B&D Consulting in 2008 and was a legislative intern for Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA) in 2007.
Kati earned her BA in communication studies from Northwestern University and lives in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of Washington, DC.
